Experimental Investigation of the Effects of Irradiating Schemes in Laser Tube Bending Process

The laser tube bending process (LTBP) is a thermal non-contact for tubes with less springback and thinning of the tube. In this paper, will be studied experimentally. length irradiation scheme are two main affecting parameters in LTBP process. For purpose, different samples according to schemes (Circular irradiating (CIS) axial (AIS)) lengths beam (from 4.7 28.2 mm) fabricated. angle laser-bent tube, lateral angle, ovality, thickness variations measured experimentally, effects investigated. An 18 mm diameter, 1 thick mild steel was bent 1100 Watts beam. results show that both schemes, by increasing ovality variation ratio increased. addition, similar length, AIS considerably higher than CIS. much demonstrate percentage obtained CIS more values associated
